& Contents Policy
In the event that Fabulous Baskets
is out of an item we reserve the right to substitute items of
equal or better value.
In the event that Fabulous Baskets
is out of your gift choice, we will try to contact you for an
alternative.
Return
Policy
We will accept all returns when:
- Fabulous Baskets or one of its affiliates, makes one if its’
infrequent errors.
- The basket/gift is not a specially ordered item
- It comes back to us in the same condition that you Received
it.
- Fabulous Baskets is notified within 48 hours of receipt of their
basket
Fabulous Baskets will exchange your gift for an item of equal
or greater value or issue you a credit. Please save all boxes,
packing materials and maintain any product in air-conditioning,
your refrigerator or freezer, as appropriate
Cancellation
Policy
We can’t imagine why you would want to cancel an order,
but if you do, we will accept cancellations under the following
circumstances:
- The Basket is not a specially designed basket/container
- Fabulous Baskets has not specially ordered, paid for and received
items for your order.
- You have given us 48 hours cancellation on fresh product ( eg:
fruit, fresh baked cookies)
- Fabulous Baskets has not already sent the gift out for shipping
- Fabulous Baskets has not already sent the gift out for delivery
and it is perishable in nature
(e.g. flowers, fruit, fresh baked cookies)
Delivery
/Shipping Policy
*In the case of unforeseen circumstances, Fabulous Baskets reserves
the right to postpone or cancel delivery. Fabulous Baskets will
notify you if this situation occurs.
*Fabulous Baskets will not accept
responsibility for ruined product if you elect to pick up the
basket yourself, or send your own driver/courier and do not store
in air-conditioning.
* Extra delivery instructions may
require our drivers to alter their route, or to backtrack on their
route. If they cannot accommodate the request, we will try to
hire a different, reputable, courier at a higher price. We pass
these extra charges on to you.
*Drivers charge us "wait time", for incorrect addresses
(including Ave. instead of St. and incorrect zip codes) or if
no one is home. They charge us to bring the basket back to Fabulous
Baskets and again to redeliver. These charges are forwarded to
you.
*We will not leave a basket delivery
either unsigned or at the front door and unattended
*Unless otherwise requested, we
ship all parcels by ground.
Restrictions
to Delivery / Shipping
- We are unable to deliver to PO
boxes
- Some Schools will not accept deliveries to students and may
not allow alcohol on premises.
- Prisons will not accept deliveries to inmates.
- Both the ports of Miami & Fort Lauderdale will not let a
driver deliver directly to the cabin. It must be left with ship
services and ship services charges an extra $5.00 (cash).
- Some communities are gated and do not allow access nor will
they accept deliveries on behalf of an individual when they are
not home.
- Hotel deliveries are left with the concierge of the hotel. The
majority of the hotels will not put baskets in the room prior
to check-in and often expect a gratuity.
- We do not send ground shipments of chocolate products during
summer
- We do not send ground shipments of fresh fruit products
- We do not send out ground shipments of freshly baked products.
- Both Fed Ex and UPS store packages they pick up on Fridays,
in their Miami warehouse, during the weekend. These warehouses
are not air-conditioned. Fabulous Baskets has elected to hold
on to those shipments in our own warehouse, until Mondays.
- We do not ship Balloons
- We do not ship fresh Flowers.
- We will not ship alcohol to minors
Payment Policy
* All orders must be prepaid with a charge card or prepaid with
a company check or cash
* We accept Master card, Visa, American Express, Diners and Discover
charge cards
* Charge cards must be accompanied by exact name, exact company
name,
number, PID number, expiration date and billing address of card
* We do not accept personal checks
* We do not accept COD payments
* There will be a $25 NSF charge on returned checks.
